Promoting diversity in the children's room through diverse toys is about showing children a world that is as unique and diverse as they are. Through this education, children can both feel represented in the toy and learn to be tolerant, respectful and inclusive. This helps them to shape their relationships with themselves and others positively throughout their lives. The rag dolls are intended for all children to play with: black children, kids of color, white children - simply for all children and for a greater sense of self.
